How to Apply for Funding

Thank you for your interest in the Komen Roanoke Affiliate grants program.    

To apply for a Komen Greater Roanoke Valley Affiliate community grant, your organization must be:

• A federally tax exempt entity – nonprofit organization, government agency, educational institution, or Indian tribe.

• Located in the Greater Roanoke Valley Affiliate’s service area – 19 counties of Alleghany, Bath, Bedford, Bland, Botetourt, Carroll, Craig, Floyd, Franklin, Giles, Grayson, Henry, Montgomery, Patrick, Pittsylvania, Pulaski, Roanoke, Rockbridge, and Wythe

• A current or planned provider of breast health programs for education and prevention, screening, and treatment

To Apply for Funding, download the Request for Proposal for 2009-2010 here. 

Carefully review the Request for Funding to ensure that you understand the requirements. Please direct any questions to the Grants Committee Chair, as indicated in the application.

Be sure to prepare and submit your application by the deadline of Monday, November 16, 2009, 5:00 PM.

Only electronic submissions will be accepted and must be in a PDF format and emailed to grants@komenroanoke.org.
