Cocktail for the Cure Presents Check to Komen
This year, the 3rd Annual Rotaract Cocktail Fundraiser "Cocktail for the Cure" raised a generous donation for the Greater Roanoke Valley Komen Affiliate. The fundraiser was a joint event sponsored by the Salem Rotary Club, Roanoke College and Rotaract (Roanoke College's collegiate extension of Rotary International). The event was held In honor of Trina Mitchell, a recent survivor of breast cancer and a RC employee.
Salem Rotarians, students, and faculty attended the event. The Komen Affiliate had an education table and handed out educational information to students and all attendees.
